30 class hours (= 22.5 clock hours) over a 15-week period.The total student study time is 90 hours (equivalent to 3 ECTS credits).There are therefore 67.5 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

After successfully completing this module, students will be familiar with the basics of urban and landscape planning and be able to apply appropriate planning instruments.
In this context, they will be familiar with general principles, as well as specific individual phenomena of different outdoor planning scales.
Students will be able to apply their knowledge and judgement in order to see buildings, city and landscape as elements of our cultural landscape and to incorporate these into their design work.
Students will acquire basic knowledge about landscape planning and landscape architecture.
Landscape elements:
topography, forests, trees, hedges, meadows, water, borders/edges
Building-related open space:
green areas, district parks, urban developments, open spaces, landscapes
Multimedia visualization technologies
References to literature and research options are topic-related and will be announced at the beginning of the module.
