Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will: - be familiar with the main provisions of individual labor law and the core provisions of social security law. - be able to relate them to the establishment, performance and termination of employment relationships. - be familiar with the basic principles of collective labor law and understand its function for the cooperation between employers and and employee representative bodies. - be able to deal independently with legal texts, understand the hierarchy of standards and the significance of the set of standards for operational practice. - be able to develop solutions for specific cases by classifying the problem, subsuming the facts under the characteristics of the relevant regulations and deriving the result from them. - be able to review the results based on general legal value judgements.
