After successfully completing this module, students will be able to:
- carry out a strategic analysis of the logistics of an industrial or trading company or a logistics service provider,
- develop functional logistics strategies,
- describe the design possibilities of a logistics organization.
- set up a logistics controlling system that contains the following components, among others,

- evaluate and optimize the efficiency of a logistics unit
- explain the essential elements of a quality management system

After successfully completing this module, students will be able to:
- solve legal problems concerning the most important national logistics contracts,
- consider aspects of international transport and insurance law,
- address and present specific legal problems of logistics.

- Managing a logistics unit (personnel, costs, performance) using selected practical examples
- Logistics controlling (key figures, process cost accounting, BSC, vehicle routing,
budgeting)
- Measuring efficiency in logistics
- Quality management (service, customer satisfaction, error rate, various audits)

- National contracts for logistics companies

- Lecture und discussions
- Students will practice solving complex practical problems in individual or group work and then discuss their solutions
