Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will: _ be familiar with the ultimate limit state design of composite members, _ be able to design all types of glulam beams and calculate and construct the supporting purlins, _ be able to design and dimension timber frameworks, _ be able to gather, process and apply subject-related information independently.

_ Composite beams: Ultimate limit state design of beams composed of individual cross-sections for rigid and flexible connections _ Glulam beams: Principles of calculating and verifying pent roof, gable roof and curved beams made of glued laminated timber.
