Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will: _ will be able to design and construct bridges in steel, concrete or composite construction. One of the main focuses here is the development of the load-bearing system and the cross-section, while taking into account the determining factors and the geometry of the terrain. The students´ scientific knowledge will be developed, adapted and applied to practical tasks. _ During the design process, students will acquire the ability to use design and structural frame analysis programs for bridge construction. _ They will learn how to deal with standards, as well as their scientific interpretation and application to new questions and tasks.
