Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
45 class hours (= 33.75 clock hours) over a 15-week period.
The total student study time is 180 hours (equivalent to 6 ECTS credits).
There are therefore 146.25 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

Learning outcomes:
Course component "Project Management":
- After successfully completing this module, students will be familiar with the basics of project management, they will be able to assess specific challenges, decide on a suitable method of structuring and approach, and apply methods and tools.
- They will be able to design and manage projects themselves according to professional standards.
Course component "Project Work":
- Students will be able to work independently on a vehicle technical task in a team and present their results in the form of a written and oral technical documentation.

Module content:
Course component "Project Management":
- Selection of a project management method that is suitable for the task at hand.
- Implementation of the task based on the chosen project management method.
 
Course component "Project Work":
A team of students will independently structure and process a vehicle engineering task and present their results in the form of a technical documentation. Topics from automotive engineering R&D work will be available for selection.
