Learning outcomes:
The course “Spanish for Beginners 1” is designed for learners with little or no prior knowledge of Spanish. The courses “Spanish for Beginners 1 and 2” build on each other. Over the course of the two modules, students will first reach A1 and then progress to A2 level, as defined by the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
The goal of the course is to equip students with the basic knowledge of the Spanish language, enabling them to communicate effectively in general and professional situations, both orally and in writing. To achieve this, all four skills (speaking, listening comprehension, reading and writing) will be trained equally. Content development will be supported by the repitition of relevant grammatical structures.
The course takes a communicative and pragmatic approach, promoting communicative competence in job-related situations through role-playing and situational dialogues. This also covers intercultural aspects, raising students´ awareness of cultural differences and enabling them to assert themselves in specific situations.
