Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this submodule, students will be familiar with the architectures of electrohydraulic drive systems (e.g. valve-controlled linear and rotary drives, hydrostatic axes, variable-speed drive systems with motor pump units). They will be able to explain the basic structure and function of the required components (pumps and motors, cylinders, electro-hydraulic valves, sensors for position/angle detection). Students will be able to create model equations and structure diagrams of electrohydraulic drive systems. Using predefined simulation software, students will be able to transfer the above structure diagrams into the creation of a model. Students will be able to derive parameters for
