After successfully completing thsi module, students will:
- have received an orientation and introduction to the study and practical professional training of nursing and caregiving.
- have had the opportunity to reflect on their entry into nursing studies against the background of their own (professional) biographical experience, for example with professional nursing and/or in the care of relatives.
- have become familiar with nursing as a professional field and academic profession.
- be able to reflect on professional nursing work as an ethical challenge for nursing staff.
- have had the opportunity to reflect on ways of maintaining and promoting their own health (including occupational safety).
- be able to perceive care in their different fields of activity and subject areas.
- have had the opportunity to learn, practice and apply the learning and presentation techniques necessary for success in their studies.
- have developed an understanding of scientific work. They will have developed strategies for searching for information and organizing knowledge, as well as finding literature and using it scientifically.

Seminaristic instruction, moderated group work/group puzzle, partner work, talks with contemporary witnesses, exercises, PC exercises in the CIP room
