•After successfully completing this module, students will be able to determine the technological details of manufacturing processes and be aware of their importance for each respective manufacturing process.

Module content:
1. Introduction to technological searches, including FIZZ technology (DOMA), patent searches (e.g. DEPATISnet), … 2. Analysis and further study of individual manufacturing processes in small groups with subsequent presentation, discussion and critique 3. Precise elaboration and presentation of the respective special features 4. Focus on new technologies in the sense of a “technology watch! and on actual problems encountered by industrial partners, especially in the field of forming technology.
