Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
The total student study time for this course is 60 hours.

Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, student will, according to their level, be able to follow short or long speeches and simple or complex arguments in standard English, read and understand articles and reports, explain a point of view on a problem, write personal and formal letters and make important points clear.
 
This module aims at expanding students´ professional competence and, in particular, at strengthening their instrumental and communicative competences.

Module content:
The activation, expansion, further development and training of existing English skills and supplementation of these at levels B1 or B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; lessons take place in groups that are homogeneous in terms of language skills. Preparation for the “Cambridge English: Business Certificates” exam from Cambridge Assessment English (Participation in the exam: optional).
