Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
The total student study time for this course is 300 hours.

Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will be able to write an application-oriented scientific Bachelor thesis of at least 50 pages, which is thematically based on the contents of the Aviation Business study program.
The Bachelor thesis is a special academic achievement.
It proves that a student is able to work independently and according to scientific methods on an application-oriented scientific problem within a given period of 3 months and to prepare a thesis.

Module content:
The content may vary depending on the respective topic, but must be based on the content of the Aviation Business study program. The topic of the Bachelor´s thesis is chosen in consultation with the supervising professor.

Teaching methods/Media:
The media used will depend on the respective topic.
In principle, the thesis must be submitted in triplicate in paper form and also in electronic form (e.g. CD, DVD; accepted electronic formats are PDF, Word document, OpenOffice document).
 
The basic guidelines of scientific work must be observed in the thesis.
