Module content:
The topic of the Bachelor thesis must cover a variety of course content and study emphases and can be either practically oriented (e.g. in cooperation with a company or another institution) or theoretically oriented. Students can begin writing their Bachelor´s thesis in the seventh semester, at the earliest. The time required to complete it is, as a rule, nine weeks. If a Bachelor thesis is supervised by a lecturer or a professor from another department, a professor from the Department of Civil Engineering must be appointed second supervisor. The Bachelor thesis can also be written in an institution outside the University of Applied Sciences if the required supervision is guaranteed by the professor responsible.
