Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
The total student study time for this course is 150 hours.

Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will be able to develop concepts for planning new or revising existing power distribution networks. Students will be able to determine technical requirements for power distribution system equipment using planning tools, select the equipment, implement the defined concept as a solution, and validate the solution based on standards and technical guidelines. Students will also be skilled in the use of engineering software tools for the calculation of power systems.

Developing a planning project for power distribution networks
- Task definition and description
- Identifying normative and technical principles, reviewing planning and operating principles, as well as standards
- Creating a concept for planning or revising electricity distribution networks
- Identifying the technical requirements for equipment, selecting equipment
- Implementing a solution with the help of an engineering-scientific software tool
- Validating the implemented solution
- Verifying compliance with normative limits and technical application guidelines
