Learning outcomes:
The topic of the lecture is developing portlets with Java. Two different portlet containers will be introduced: the JSR 268 reference implementation, Apache Pluto and the Liferay Portal. After developing simple portlets to get to know the basic functionalities, JavaServer Faces will be used as a presentation framework. Students will also learn how to configure a Liferay Portal and how to add their own portlets.
