Workload:

Learning outcomes:
Management in Hospitals:
After successfully completing this module, students will be familiar with the economic, management-oriented and organizational principles of hospital care with regard to nursing and treatment. And will know where to find the relevant information in the regulatory bases. They will have in-depth insights into current issues in hospital management and modern leadership and management concepts. Students will know how services and facilities for hospital inpatient and outpatient care are financed.
 
Management of Inpatient and Outpatient Facilities:
Students will be familiar with the structures and organizational forms of inpatient, day-care and outpatient nursing care in Germany. They will be able to classify them correctly in legal, financial and personnel terms within the framework of the regulations, state framework contracts and agreements concluded at state level with the ministries of social affairs, the state nursing care fund associations and the respective social assistance institutions. Students will be able to develop care concepts and determine conditions in terms of business administration and management for a resident and demand-oriented, technically appropriate and safe implementation. Using these skills, they will be able to implement innovations in nursing care in a well-planned and sound manner.
