Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
150 class hours (= 112.5 clock hours) over a 15-week period.
The total student study time is 360 hours (equivalent to 12 ECTS credits).
There are therefore 247.5 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

Learning outcomes:
Introduction to Management and Business Administration I and II:
After successfully completing this part of the module, students will:
_        have received an introduction to entrepreneurial functions from a management-oriented perspective
_        learn to use problem-solving processes in a goal-oriented manner
_        be able to deal with the nature and mode of operation of economic goals and the measures tailored to them and will be able to apply them meaningfully in various situations
 
Introduction to Management and Business Administration II:
After successfully completing this part of the module, students will:
_        be familiar with corporate management concepts in theory and practice
_        be familiar with management functions
_        have received an introduction into strategic management
_        know the specifics of management in service companies and be able to transfer them to their field of work
_        know the importance of corporate culture for management
 
Financing:
After successfully completing this part of the module, students will:
_        know the basics of financing and controlling in companies
_        know the basics of financing and controlling for companies
_        understand the specifics of financing healthcare companies
_        be familiar with systems for cost accounting
_        have a basic understanding of the assessment and independent execution of cost accounting
_        be familiar with the legal basis of financial reporting
