Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
120 class hours (= 90 clock hours) over a 15-week period.
The total student study time is 300 hours (equivalent to 10 ECTS credits).
There are therefore 210 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

Learning outcomes:
In this course, students will train their communicative, organizational and social skills in a project team and acquire expertise both in terms of managing a study project and in their chosen subject area.
 
Study Project and Practical Project 1:
The objective is to help students gain theoretical and practical experience with respect to a current topic from the healthcare sector. The first semester is devoted to formulating projects and the systematic study of research literature and institutional framework conditions.
 
Study Project and Practical Project 2:
Project participants will deepen the concepts developed in the previous semester. Depending on their chosen topic, students will plan/organize a research workshop or prepare a specialist publication on their topic.
