Learning outcomes:
This course offers students a deeper understanding of the manufacturing equipment used in the production chain, such as handling and automation components, and an appreciation of their structure and special features. Students will learn how to select and deploy the right production equipment for a particular production task while taking into account factors such as degree of automation, precision, costs and workflow management.
