Learning outcomes:

Module content:
The master’s thesis is characterized by a high degree of practical relevance and is academically more demanding than a bachelor’s thesis. Wherever possible, the thesis will concern work carried out either with a collaborative partner (company, institution etc.) or as part of research work within the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The thesis should apply the knowledge the student has acquired in all areas to solving a specific problem. The thesis is generally completed within a period of five months. The thesis can be written in German or a foreign language if this has been previously agreed with the thesis supervisor.
