Learning outcomes:
This module aims to teach students the knowledge and skills needed to design, plan and execute a practical IT project. Students will be taught the different methods and approaches used in the various planning phases (design, implementation, testing and documentation) of projects involving medium-sized teams (6–12 students per team).

Module content:
Students will apply their knowledge of software engineering, programming languages, databases, business informatics and business economics to an IT-related problem in a self-contained project that is supervised by the relevant member of academic staff. While working on the project, students will acquire a variety of techniques and skills in project management, team work, document creation and the presentation of results.
