Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
60 class hours (= 45 clock hours) over a 15-week period.
The total student study time is 210 hours (equivalent to 7 ECTS credits).
There are therefore 165 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

Learning outcomes:
In this seminar, students will deepen their understanding of the characteristics of methodical action. The methodical development of offers for recipients of social services will be tested on the basis of a needs analysis.
After successfully completing this module, students will be able to:
- methodically design offers based on needs and requirements,
- debate the methods (development) of social work with regard to the respective needs and taking into account the (global) social context,
- take a self-confident position on human rights as the starting point for the (development of) methods in social work, as well as
- as well as on the idea of contributing to a (global) social development that leads to social justice,
- take a critical stance on the offerings of social work from this normative standpoint,
- justify the choices they made in their own methodological proposal development.

- Critical reflection of methods of action in social work
- Exemplary implementation of the offer developed by the students
