Learning outcomes:
Students who successfully complete this module will be able to: - apply an approach to how to edit a written scientific paper - adequately organize and structure a scientific paper - organize the execution of a written elaboration independently - conduct a literature search on a scientific topic - articulate themselves logically, factually and rationally in oral form and present their results to an expert audience - demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of selected topics in computer science / business informatics

Module content:
Current topics and issues from the subject area of business informatics or computer science with reference to business, economics and society (i.e. topics like Machine Learning, Crypto Currencies, Virtual and Augmented Reality etc.) The students receive assistance on the procedure for the preparation of a scientific paper and its written formulation. IT-based tools are also presented for this purpose. Sources for a literature research are presented.
