Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will: - be able to plan personnel requirements in simple and moderately complex corporate structures and are able to select, justify and apply the necessary instruments in a targeted manner. - be able to apply competence management systems to personnel management decision-making situations in the recruitment, development and evaluation of employees. - be able to contribute to the development of an employer branding concept. - be able to independently use personnel marketing tools. - be able to select suitable employees by means of scientifically founded and practice-proven methods. - be able to develop and implement concepts for the integration of new employees.

- Introduction to personnel management and the self-conception of the personnel manager; - Personnel planning: Concepts and methods of personnel planning; links to the topics of knowledge management and retention. - Competence management concepts. - Personnel recruiting: talent management, employer branding; personnel marketing tools (from university fairs to Web 2.0); - Tools for personnel selection and aptitude diagnostics/potential analysis - Procedures for integrating and retaining employees.
