Learning outcomes:
The "Foreign Language / English I" and "Foreign Language / English II" modules should be seen in conjunction with one another. The goal is for the students to develop their English language skills in the professional and technical field from the desired entry level B1 to B2 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages within the course of the two modules.
In the "Foreign Language / English I" module, students will develop, test and expand their language skills and knowledge in a pragmatic-functional manner and thus improve their oral and written communication skills in job-specific situations. We will focus on speaking, listening comprehension and writing skills.
Using an intercultural approach, students will also develop an understanding of the differences in international working environments, especially in English-speaking countries and develop their intercultural competence.
