Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will be able to demonstrate the operating processes and constructive designs of combustion engines for vehicles. They will be able to define basic characteristics of combustion engines in relation to their application. Furthermore, they will be able to carry out simple tests and application work on internal combustion engines.

Handling gasoline and diesel engines including their respective components with regard to - fuel systems - carburation - combustion processes - ignition and starting systems - exhaust gas behavior and exhaust gas cleaning systems - design according to specifications - engine use
