Learning outcomes:
More in-depth study of the material covered in the previous lecture. In particular, the following topics will be dealt with in greater depth: Bootloaders, simple encryption techniques, energy saving modes, lock mechanisms. However, the main topic of the lecture is the use of micro operating systems on an AVR. Students will expand on the topics covered in the lecture by solving exercises on development kits using the Gnu compiler. Students will be able to design a small embedded system themselves in a final project.
